After the admission procedures, the \"Orientation Week\" will be the first academic activity for new students at Phu Xu\u00e2n University. The orientation week activities will include getting acquainted with the environment, academic regulations; plans and requirements for the next step (Military Semester); activities for new students to get to know each other and with previous students; and getting familiar with the advanced English learning methods applied to help new students overcome fear and hesitation when learning English.<\/span><\/p>

Starting from the academic year 2018-2019, all students without a certificate in Security - National Defense Education (a mandatory requirement for a university degree) will participate in the concentrated \"Military Semester\". Not only to obtain the Security - National Defense Education certificate, the Military Semester also helps students get acquainted with collective living, discipline, and professional manners \u2013 essential requirements for students to achieve good results in their studies at Phu Xu\u00e2n University and ensure job opportunities upon graduation.<\/span><\/p>

Each academic year at Phu Xu\u00e2n University begins in September and ends in August of the following year. Each academic year is divided into 3 semesters, 2 regular semesters lasting 4.5 months each (with an additional Summer semester in the second year, lasting 2 months).<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
